You Are Truly Welcome
We’ve all been where you are. Yikes! Visiting a new church can be intimidating.
Every one of us at Hope came here for a first time. Don’t worry. Here, you’ll find friendly, faithful, humble people. We’re ready and eager to meet you. Don’t wait: come to Hope next Sunday. And here’s some useful information while you’re counting down the days until your visit.
What We Believe
God loves you and the whole world, His creation. Even though we are sinful and don’t deserve his love, God sent his Son, Jesus, to be our sacrifice, redeeming us from sin and eternal death. We hear the Gospel, believe it, and receive the redemption and forgiveness offered by Christ’s sacrifice. On our own, we can’t do anything to earn salvation. It’s a gift from God to those who believe.
What it’s Like to Worship at Hope
It seems like every church has its own way of worshiping, and this can be confusing when you’re visiting a new church. At Hope, our worship is liturgical, which means it follows the pattern set by early Christians, passed down over the generations.
Perhaps you’ve experienced this before, or maybe this is new for you. Either way, let us share some background about Divine Service at Hope.
